The Village provides municipal water, sewer, and trash services to residents. Standard water, sewer, and trash service is $110.00/month per property.
Water bills are mailed monthly and are due by the 15th of each month. Payments may be made via check or money order and may be delivered via mail or hand delivery to the Village Hall.

Automatic ACH Payments
Residents may enroll in automatic ACH payments for their utility account.
To sign up, please complete the ACH authorization form and return it to Village Hall, or stop by during office hours to pick up a copy.
Please note that a 1% convenience fee applies to ACH payments.
Online Utility Payments
The Village of London Mills utilizes the Illinois EPay platform in order to offer residents the option to pay their utility bills online via credit, debit, or ACH. Illinois EPay assesses a convenience fee for this service.
New Utility Accounts
To open a new utility account, please visit Village Hall during office hours.
Requirements:
- Accounts must be opened by the property owner
- A $175 deposit is required to establish a new utility account
Garbage Collection
Garbage collection occurs every Monday and should be placed at the curb for pickup.
If pickup falls on a holiday, service will occur on the following day.
Observed holidays include Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day.
